Description & Condition
Description & Condition
This model was manufactured in Japan and is now discontinued.
Okada International, which has long handled top brands such as Sadowsky NYC and Suhr, is responsible for the basic design and is highly regarded for its high quality.
Unlike the NYC, which has a chambered body, this one has a solid body for a more traditional-oriented sound.
Needless to say, the Metroline is not just a cheaper version, but a properly evolved instrument of a different lineage.
The hum-cancelling pickups are low-noise even when used on their own, allowing for more flexible PU wiring choices.
The pre-amp is two-band with boost only.
It has a tight, speedy sound that is very appealing, and this is stronger than the NYC.
Overall, this is a beautifully balanced piece with very few bias points.
There are roughly 80% frets remaining.
The truss rod operation and neck are in good condition.
The body and paintwork are in good condition, with some dulling of parts. There are also a few scratches and dents, but overall it is a beautiful piece.
No obvious modifications were found.
Controls: volume, balancer, master tone (active-passive/push-pull), treble/bass.
Nut width : 39 mm
Pitch between strings at bridge : 20 mm
Year of manufacture : 2017
Country of manufacture : Japan

A Stringjoy, which we import and distribute, is used in the setup.
The Nashville-made Stringjoy is characterised by a silky feel, with plenty of low end and rich, natural overtones.
These are quality strings that bring out the best performance and character of the instrument, so enjoy them together.
The GIB craftsmen have adjusted them to make them easy to play and deliver them to you.
