Description & Condition
Rosoce is a high-end bass brand based in North Carolina, USA.
It is known as a favorite of Jimmy Haslip, Anthony Crawford, Wataru Suzuki, and others.
Roscoe has several popular models, including the LG and Century, but this is the SKB model, which is characterized by its neat sense of balance.
The body top is made of beautiful quilted maple and the back is made of Spanish cedar.
The fingerboard is a spotted purpleheart, and the neck is the familiar purpleheart and maple laminate type.
The pickups appear to be Bartolini originally, but they have been replaced.
The preamp is a Batolini, probably original.
Designed with a 35" scale and a solid neck, the string vibration is strong but eloquent.
Plenty of low end, and a delicious middle that rides there with a thump.
This is a consignment item, so pricing is up to the consignor.
Personally, I feel it is a very good deal. I recommend it.
The frets are approximately 70% remaining.
The truss rod is in good working order.

The condition of the body and painted surfaces are scattered with scratches and small dents.
