Description & Condition
Rosoce is a high-end bass brand based in North Carolina, USA.
It is known as a favourite of Jimmy Haslip, Anthony Crawford, Wataru Suzuki and others.
The LG is the flagship model of the hugely popular Roscoe range.
It is a masterpiece with smart looks and hyper-smooth playability.
The body back is Mahogany and the top is Figured Mango.
This is an unusual top material.
The Mahogany back gives it a richer mid-range sound.
Ash and Spanish Cedar are a bit lighter.
The neck is the familiar Purpleheart and Maple laminate type, with a Blivian Rosewood fingerboard.
This neck is supple and stiff.
The string vibrations designed in the solid 34" scale neck are output by the powerful Bartolini electronics.
The Roscoe LG is very beautifully designed and has a neat balance in sound, which I personally like very much.
This unit is also excellent.
There are roughly 80% frets remaining.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition. The grips are originally matte, but have been played and are shiny throughout.
The body and paintwork are in good condition, with a 30 mm scratch on the back panel. There are other minor scratch marks, but there are no noticeable scratches and it can be said to be a beauty.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No clear modification points were found.
