Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Pedulla is an American high-end bass brand founded in 1975.
The fretless models are especially highly regarded.
Many professionals use them, including masters such as Mark Egan and Will Lee.
The brand was sadly discontinued in 2019.
This type of fretless model from Pedulla is very popular, and it can be said to be the flagship model.
One thing that bothers me is that it is fretless despite having the MVP stamp.
I had the impression that the Buzz series was fretless and the MVP was fretted, but there is a difference here.
It may have been processed to be fretless, but the area around the fingerboard looks original.
I would be grateful if anyone knows anything about this matter.
That aside, looking at the wood, one of its features is that it is mostly made of maple, with the body wings and neck made of figured maple and the fingerboard made of ebony.
The fingerboard is coated and has some cracks.
Pedulla is prone to similar problems, and GIB has repaired it several times, so please contact us if you are concerned.
The pickups are Batolini soap bars, and the preamp is Bartolini NTMB, so it is in perfect condition.
It shows signs of use, but still has a great sound.
Because it is a bass that mainly uses maple, it has a tight, endless attack and sustain texture.
Please try out this genuine masterpiece.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition. There are several cracks and scratches on the fingerboard where the paint has lifted.
The body and painted surface are clean with no noticeable scratches, although the metal parts are dull.
The condition of the electrical system is good.
No obvious modifications were found. Controls: Master volume, balancer, treble, bass, middle boost switch, middle boost width adjustment trimmer x 2 (in cavity), preamp gain (in cavity)
