Description & Condition
Just as Fender developed Fender Japan, Gibson developed Orville in the 80s and 90s.
Released by Gibson in 1958, the Flying V is a typical example of a transformable guitar with an aggressive and distinctive design.
It has been used by various artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Michael Schenker, and Dave Davies.
Only 81 of the 1958 Flying V were shipped at the time, and because of its rarity, it is currently priced at tens of millions of yen or more.
This is a replica of the 1958 Flying V.
This model is a replica of the 1958 Flying V, and since it is an Orville by Gibson, it is carefully produced in Japan and has hybrid specifications with pickups similar to those of the original Gibson USA model.
It is now becoming increasingly rare and valuable.
The body and neck are made of Mahogany, and the fingerboard is made of Rosewood.
The unique V-shape construction gives the guitar a soft sound despite being a solid guitar.
The traditional humbucking pickups are also powerful.
Gold parts are used for the hardware, and the V-shaped plate stands out from the rest, giving the guitar a gorgeous look.
This is one guitar that is sure to stand out on stage.
How about taking advantage of this opportunity?
The frets are approximately 80% full.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is slightly high, but it is playable at 2.3mm on the 6th string side and 1.8mm on the 1st string side.
The condition of the body and paintwork is commensurate with its age, with scratches, dents, dull paint, and play marks. The gold parts have rust, discoloration, and chrome peeling, and there is a hole where a strap pin was moved. There are tape marks on the body back and sides. There is a signature on the body back.
Pickup cover has been removed. Toggle switch knob, volume and tone knobs have been replaced, jack plate has been replaced, and pickguard has been replaced (holes have not been filled).
