Musicman was introduced as Leo Fender's second brand and was loved by bassists around the world.
The flagship model of the company is the Stingray, but the Sabre, which followed it, is just as highly acclaimed.
Moreover, this is a so-called "Pre Ernie" model, made in 1979, before Musicman was acquired by Ernieball.
It was made in 1979.
Ash body and one-piece maple neck.
It is beautiful.
Of course there are 3 joint screws.

Fat, powerful, and sharp. It is the best.
Approximately 70% frets left.
The truss rod is a little stiff, but we have confirmed that it works about 90 degrees.
The neck is in good condition. Overall, there are some color burn, paint peeling, and paint cracks.
The body and painted surfaces are in good condition with weather checks throughout. There are scattered dents. The 4th string side of the neck pickup cover is cracked and has been reinforced with black vinyl tape, but the bobbin inside is visible.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The nut, frets, pickup selector (mini switch), and strap pins have been replaced. Active/passive switch has been added where the phase switch was originally.
