Description & Condition
Moon is a long-established guitar brand representing Japan.
Highly regarded by many professional artists, Mitsuru Sudo and Larry Graham are known to be loyal users of the brand.
This JJ model, with its slanted neck pickup, is a highly acclaimed flagship model.
The body is made of white ash and the fingerboard is maple, a popular combination.
The pickups are MJB-505.
The preamp is a Black Bird.
The strap pins are made by Schaller.
Unusually for the JJ series, it comes equipped with a pickguard.
The sound is particularly noteworthy, with sharp clarity when slapped or fingered, yet rich low frequencies.
I believe it's this sound that has made it a favorite among bassists for so long.
Approximately 70% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paint show occasional scratches and dents. There are also traces of screw holes that appear to be for attaching a pickup fence.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.

● Repurchase Price Guarantee
If you sell your purchase within six months of purchase, we will guarantee the repurchase price. This guarantee is 50% for new instruments and 70% for used instruments.
● Defect Guarantee
Products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items and other products, we will repair any malfunctions that occur under normal use free of charge during the warranty period (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).
The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.
Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases:
- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by handling that violates the precautions in the instruction manual.
- Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by parties other than our company.
- If your name, model name, serial number, etc. are not written on the warranty card, or if the wording has been altered.
- If the warranty card is not presented or lost.
(Warranty is only available for purchases within Japan.)
