It is highly regarded by many professional artists and is known for being favored by numerous pros, including Mitsuru Sudo and Larry Graham.
This is the legendary JJ model.
It features an ash body with an ebony fingerboard.
While its sound is noteworthy, its appearance is also understated and classy. It has real character.
It features moon's original pickups and a Bartolini XTCT preamp.
Additionally, a Bartolini MCT-500 has been added, enabling midrange boost.
Its signature is a clean, straight sound without any muddiness.
True to Bartolini's character, it feels well-balanced and refined, offering great playability.
The sound is particularly noteworthy for its sharp attack during slapping and fingerstyle playing, combined with rich low end.
This signature sound is likely why it has been beloved by bassists for so long.
Approximately 70% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is stiff but confirmed to move about 90 degrees.
The neck condition is good.
The body and finish show scattered minor dents and scratches on the body and headstock.
A finger rest screw hole is present near the bridge pickup.
Electronics are in good condition.
A Bartolini MCT-500 has been added, and accordingly, the back panel has been replaced with one allowing midrange adjustment without opening the panel.
