Description & Condition
Momose, based in Matsumoto, Nagano, produces high quality basses and guitars.
Known for their high quality and beautiful looks, Momose basses and guitars have been used by artists such as Kyohei Ariga, Kazuki Isogai, and Shinya Ishihara (Saucy Dog). (
The MST series is Momose's flagship model with the look of a traditional Stratocaster shape.
The body is Alder, the neck is Maple, and the fingerboard is Madagascar Rosewood, all in the 60s style.
The body color is SOB, which is rarely seen in the market, and it is finished with top lacquer.
The rare Madagascar Rosewood used for the fingerboard tends to sound similar to Jacaranda and is known as a high quality material.
The pickups are momose's original TWANG60 ST.
The rich sound is characteristic, especially in the midrange, which has a sparkling and fat sound.
it has a cozy feel and sounds very comfortable when played.
Other hardware features include an oiled beef bone nut, GOTOH 6-point tremolo unit, locking pegs, and JESCAR frets.
This is a must-try for the guitarist with a hands-on approach to the field.
The remaining frets are approximately 90%.
The truss rod is in good working order and the neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork are in beautiful condition with no major damage, although some metal parts are dull and the pickguard has a few scratches from playing.
