Builder Fred has been interested in guitars and basses since he was a child, and by the age of 15, he had already begun dedicating his life to crafting stringed instruments.
The word ""meta"" means ""after,"" ""beyond,"" and ""change.""
With this concept in mind, he has worked to create beautiful, passionate, unique, modern, and revolutionary guitars and basses.
Most Meta Guitars' instruments are designed headless.
This allows for lightweight, compact designs and excellent ergonomic balance.
Furthermore, headless hardware is tuned without gears, which means greater tuning stability.
He is particular about achieving an excellent balance between sound and playability.
To achieve this, almost all of his models have a single cutaway and ergonomically curved body.
The beautiful body curve not only looks good, but also provides the player with ideal balance whether standing or sitting.
The single cut increases the strength of the bass neck, reducing its elasticity, resulting in a tighter tone and longer sustain.

I tried several different scales and specified this one.
While fanned frets are often used to increase the tension of the bass strings, this one does the opposite.
The aim was to reduce the tension of the treble strings, which are too strong, so the G string is 32 inches long.
The effect is tremendous, particularly in the D and G strings, which reduce the nuance of overly strong fundamental tones, resulting in richer overtones.
It's like having the treble strings of an SG or Mustang bass combined with the bass strings of a JB or PB.
It's a unique scale design, but I think you'll understand how great it is once you try it.
The fact that the overall instrument is smaller is also a great point.
I specified chestnut for the body and purple heart for the neck and fingerboard.
Chestnut bodies are their standard, and I've felt its high quality from their previous works.
Purple heart is hard but has a distinctive warmth to it, which I think adds a suppleness to the sound, especially when used on the neck and fretboard.
