LAKLAND has an overwhelmingly high reputation among professional bass players worldwide.

Known as a favourite of top artists such as Darryl Jones, Joe Osborn and Adam Clayton.

Lakland has several series, but this is the top-of-the-range USA series.
This is the flagship 55-94Deluxe model.

It was made when the PU was still Bartolini, and many people appreciate this era.

The body back is ash and the top is quilted maple.
Such top-grade quilted maple is now really expensive and cannot be achieved with an upcharge of a few tens of thousands of yen.

The fingerboard is black ebony, which is also less common nowadays.
The neck is selected quarter-sawn maple.

All the wood is high-grade.
These luxurious specifications are now difficult to realise.

The PU is a Bartolini and the pre-amp is also a Bartolini with NTMB.
You have a mod to add a divided pick-up. It will also have dedicated outputs.

Single coil PU on the neck side and humbucking PU on the bridge side.

The bridge PU has the ability to switch the wiring between neck-side coil only, both coils and bridge-side coil only.
This allows you to recreate the PU layouts of 60s JBs, 70s JBs and the Stingray sound.

The beautiful mellow, deep character of the sound is unique to the 55-94 of this era.
This is a masterpiece that has the universal elements of Fender and others, but with a more modern and sleeker character.

There are approximately 70% frets remaining.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork are in good condition, with a few scratches and dings.
The electrical system is in good condition.
Neck end marked #5963 6.16.2000 and neck pocket marked 4/17/00/1.
