Nanbu Tekki Effects is an effects pedal brand that uses Nanbu Tekki (cast iron) for its casing, as the name suggests.
While aluminum is typically used for cases, this brand uses cast iron, which is heavier. In terms of sound, the brand describes its pedals as having “thick sound pressure and fast picking response.”
The developer, Keijiro Fukushima, studied electrical engineering at Tokyo Denki University to create effects pedals, and the brand's serious, no-nonsense approach is another appealing aspect.
This model is a preamp for bass.
As you can see, the housing is not made of southern ironware, unlike other models in the series.
The controls are simple, consisting of GAIN, VOLUME, Bass, Mid, and Treble.
The sound is clear and powerful.
Additionally, it responds well to picking and volume changes, and the amp-like playing feel is also appealing.
The simple design and操作感 are beautiful, and it is highly recommended.
There is minimal wear on the exterior, but overall it is in beautiful condition. It functions well.
