Ken Smith, based in Pennsylvania, New York, is a renowned brand of premium electric bass guitars.
The company is also known for developing the world's first 6-string bass and designing tapered core strings, making it a pioneer in modern bass design.
This particular instrument is a 2017 BSR6 “Black Tiger.”
The body top and back are crafted from carefully selected 4A grade Claro Walnut, with a 3-ply construction of maple core.
Compared to models with 5-ply or more bodies, it boasts a richer midrange sound character that allows you to feel the ""resonance of the wood"" more clearly.
In addition, it offers extremely responsive picking without being overly compressed, possessing a wide range and clarity.
The neck is a 5-ply laminate primarily of quarter-sawn maple, and the fingerboard is Macassar ebony.
Through meticulous woodworking and an ultra-thin finish using a uniquely formulated oil, this guitar achieves both excellent weight balance and resonance.
The pickups and preamp are original.
Sound-wise, the phase is well-aligned across all strings, from low B to high C, resulting in stable fundamental tone output.
The low B string, in particular, is clear and full-bodied, functioning effectively without getting lost in the mix.
In addition, Ken Smith's unique pickup and preamp design provides extremely smooth and easy-to-use EQ response, resulting in a tone design that is immediately useful in both live performances and recordings.

●Re-Buyback Price Guarantee
If you sell your purchased item within 6 months of purchase, we guarantee the buyback price. The price is 50% for new items and 70% for used items.
●Defect Warranty
Basic Co., Ltd. provides a warranty against defects for products sold by the company. With the exception of some items such as consigned goods, we will repair (or refund if repair is not possible) any malfunctions that occur during normal use within a certain warranty period from the date of purchase free of charge.
The warranty period is 3 months for used products and 1 year for new products.
Please note that the following cases will incur a charge even within the warranty period:
* Malfunctions and damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
* Replacement of consumables.
