This is a rare model produced on a limited American manufacturing line.

This instrument has been later converted to fretless.

Because the strings vibrate directly against the fretboard without the need for frets, it produces a very woody and warm tone.

The attack during picking is smooth and rounded, immediately followed by a rich, distinctive low-mid range.

The electronics also feature meticulous specifications.

Two EMG pickups are mounted.

Their low noise and extremely high resolution characteristics result in a clear and uniform output balance from the 5th string's Low-B to the high positions of the treble strings.

The preamp features an Aguilar OBP-1.

This boost-only preamp powerfully boosts the deep bass frequencies down to 40Hz and the clear treble frequencies up to 4kHz.

Building on EMG's characteristic low-noise, high-resolution signal, the OBP-1 adds a fat bottom end, further enhancing the singing harmonic content known as "mwah" in fretless basses.

From the fluid playing style of Gary Willis to a thick, undulating modern tone, it can be freely controlled with just the EQ controls.

With high build quality, there is minimal pitch drift from the low-B on the 5th string to the high positions of the treble strings, and the separation of each string is clearly maintained even when playing chords.

The tone design is the antithesis of a sharp, edgy sound, instead offering a fat, alluring tone that softly envelops the ensemble.

This guitar possesses a unique charm, reproducing the subtle nuances of the player's touch and vibrato with extreme accuracy, imbuing bass lines with deep expressiveness and an organic resonance.

●Defect Warranty

Basic Co., Ltd. provides a warranty against defects for products sold by the company. With the exception of some items such as consigned goods, we will repair (or refund if repair is not possible) any malfunctions that occur during normal use within a certain warranty period from the date of purchase free of charge.

The warranty period is 3 months for used products and 1 year for new products.
