History is an original brand produced by Shimamura Gakki.
As befits a music store's original brand, it's known for its high cost performance.
This model is based on the classic jazz bass.
It is a high-end model.
The body is made of alder and the fingerboard is made of rosewood, a popular wood composition.
The maple used for the neck is a North American heritage wood.
The frets are attached using the familiar CFS (circle fretting system).
CFS frets are set in a fan pattern, ensuring that they are perpendicular to the strings, making scale setting more accurate.
The bridge is a GOTOH-510B4.
Recent models of this model have adopted a KTS titanium bridge.
The pickups have been replaced with Bartolini 9ST L/S pickups.
While it has a vintage feel, the quick response also has a modern nuance.
Being a Bartolini, it has a deeper, warmer texture.
This instrument is a perfect example of what you get when you build it with these specs.
A masterpiece that is packed with the best of Japanese-made products, without excessive cost-cutting.
I think many people will like this.
I recommend it.
Approximately 80% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
There are minor scratches and dents on the body and paintwork. There are particularly many minor dents on the back of the body.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The pickups have been replaced with Bartolini 9ST L/S pickups. The potentiometers and capacitors have also been replaced.
