Greco is a brand that has been active since the dawn of Japanese guitar making.
It continues to manufacture guitars today and has a reputation for solid quality.
The GOB900 is an original Greco model, a gem that shows the progressive approach to manufacturing at the time.
It uses a through-neck construction.
This gives it a smooth start-up and response feel.
The neck is 5-piece made of maple and walnut.
The body is made of Sen.
In terms of specifications, this model has some similarities to the Ibanez MC.
The frets are approximately 70% remaining.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition, with the first string side twisting with a tendency towards forward warp and a high rise.
The strings are set at a height of 2.5-3.0 mm, but there is some sound jamming in the high position on the first string side.
The neck has some dents and scratches. The tuners are dull.
The truss rod adjustment groove has been widely shaved.
This is probably to allow access to the truss rod with common tools.
The truss rod cover has two holes on one side of the lower hole.
The body and paintwork are in good condition with scattered dents and scratches.
There are some machining marks from when the strap pins (flush mounts) were installed.
There are no functional problems.
The boost volume knob is cracked. This is also currently functional.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The pickup selector has been replaced by a balancer.
The strap pins have been replaced with Jim Dunlop flush mount type.

There are visible processing marks from when the strap pin (flush mount) was installed. There is a crack in the boost volume knob.
