It continues to manufacture guitars today and has a reputation for solid quality.
This one has been comprehensively judged to be a 1979 EB-8 from the serial and other information.
The design is packed with many modern elements, such as original hardware and a through-neck construction.
The 5P neck, mainly made of maple, is jointed with a through neck.
Maple is applied to the body top in a way that it is not visible from the top side.
The body back is mahogany.
This technique has been adopted by Ken Smith and others.
The tight, massive sounding PU, typical of Greco, is also powerful in the 8-string style.
The sound has a lot of beautiful overtones and a fresh impression.
There are roughly 70% frets remaining.
The truss rod is in good working order.
Neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork are in player's condition with some dull parts, scratches and dents.
No obvious modification points were found.
