Description & Condition

Gibson is the king of the guitar world, having produced countless legendary instruments.

It is beloved by countless artists, including Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour, and Shinichi Ikegata.

The ES-335 debuted from Gibson in 1958.

It features a distinctive double-cutaway hollow body.

Inside the body, the central section where the pickup and bridge sit is solid wood, known as the center block. The sides are hollow, featuring violin-style F-holes.

This structure, a hybrid between a solid-body guitar and an acoustic guitar, defines the semi-acoustic guitar style.

Its appeal lies in being more resistant to feedback than a fully acoustic design, making it perfectly suitable for rock music.

Indeed, many artists use it in rock bands.

This is a Custom Shop model.

The Custom Shop is a specialized manufacturing division created to fulfill custom orders.

It produces exceptional guitars using advanced craftsmanship to meet the demands of professional artists and guitar dealers.

Its high quality is highly regarded by artists worldwide.

This model recreates the 1959 ES-335.

It features the distinctive look of the era: dot inlays, a minimally processed center block, a long pickguard, and Mickey Mouse ear horns.

The body uses a Maple/Poplar/Maple laminate construction.

This design controls the body's resonance while enhancing durability against cracking.

The body is finished in a tasteful natural color using traditional nitrocellulose lacquer.

The neck is Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, a classic Gibson combination.

It features Gibson 57 Classic pickups in the neck and bridge positions.

These are long-standing Gibson models, beloved for years as replicas of the humbucking pickups developed by Seth LaBare, commonly known as PAFs.

The sound is rich and sweet yet maintains a tight, focused character.

The semi-hollow construction and thinner body provide good feedback resistance, allowing for distortion use without issues.

This legendary instrument has been cherished by countless artists and used across various musical genres.

Why not take advantage of this opportunity?

Approximately 80% of the frets remain.
The truss rod and neck condition are good.
The body and finish show overall dullness on the metal parts.

Dents and scratches are on the body side near the 6th string F-hole. The binding has finish chips resembling scratches. Finish bleeding and dents are on the body side near the controls.
There is a belt buckle scratch on the center of the body back, fine dents around the binding on the entire body back, rust on the backplate of the 1st and 4th string tuners, red stains on the rod and peg post leading to the 2nd string tuner button, dents and scratches across the entire headstock, dents near the 3rd and 5th string tuners on the headstock top, and a scratch near the headstock logo.
