Tom Hamilton (Aerosmith) and Murphy Karges (Sugar Ray) are well-known bassists who use the company's basses.
The M-2000 is based on the flagship model, the L-2000, with simplified controls for greater ease of use.
Compared to the L-2000, the M-2000 features simpler controls, and some people may prefer this one.
As with G&L's humbucking PUs, the middle range has a strong push, and even with EQ, the sound image is not blurred, allowing for a high degree of freedom in sound makeup.
