Fullertone is a Japanese brand renowned for manufacturing vintage-style bass guitars.
As you can see, this is an extremely simple JB replica.
The body is made of alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood, a classic wood combination.
The finish is lacquer, and as you can see, it has been given a realistic aged finish.
The pickups are original.
In terms of sound, it has the tight tone characteristic of a JB, while retaining its solid low end. It has a very authentic classic feel.
At this price point, achieving a vintage-like sound and appearance is likely only possible because it is made in Japan.
The frets have approximately 90% remaining life.
The truss rod is on the stiffer side, but it has been confirmed to move up to 90 degrees.
The neck shows signs of a slight bow.
Currently, it can be played without issues with the G string at 2.5mm and the E string at 3.0mm.
