EDR-4R is a modern base with an original design.

The top of the body is Flamed Maple and the back is Alder.
It is painted in a beautiful fade color and has a luxurious look.

The neck is made of 5pc multi-layer laminate and the material is Maple/Bubbinga.
The method of making a neck by gluing multiple pieces of wood together is a method to reduce left-right differences and individual differences, and to obtain higher stability.

Rosewood is used for the fingerboard.

It is equipped with the original PU and preamplifier, but this control is a little unique.

In addition to the usual volume, balancer, tone (SW active/passive), and 3-band EQ, it also has two switches.

These two switches have different roles.

The switch on the neck side is a neck PU tap switch.
The neck PU, which is a dual coil PU, can be operated as a single coil.

The switch on the bridge side is the bridge PU coil selector.
You can choose which coil of the bridge PU, which is a dual coil PU, will operate.

I imagine it would be possible to switch between a PB-like sound with the neck PU acting as humbucking and a JB-like sound with a single neck PU, and then for the JB-like sound you could choose between 60s and 70s PU locations.

Although the base looks modern at first glance, the underlying motif is classic.
It is the basis of a truly unique idea.

The playability is very high, and on top of that, it is possible to create the sound as described above.
