Freedom is a Tokyo-based guitar workshop that enjoys overwhelming support from professional musicians in Japan, and in recent years, its name has begun to resonate overseas.

Originally highly regarded for its repair work, the workshop now focuses on manufacturing, and its creations are loved by many musicians for their high quality and rational design sense.

All basses from this brand are manufactured in Tokyo.

Through strict quality control, the wood used is carefully selected, and any wood that does not meet the standards is not used in the products.

This level of quality control is possible precisely because it is a small workshop.

In that sense, the quality is fundamentally different from that of products made in large factories.

This model is a PB replica.

This is a somewhat rare active type for a PB-type bass.

The body is made of alder, and the fingerboard is made of maple, a classic configuration.

It is finished in a poly-painted Fiesta Red color.

The frets are the highly regarded original stainless steel frets.

This is a WARM type, characterized by the durability and quick response typical of stainless steel, while offering a warm sound that isn't overly bright.

The pickups are Freedom's original Vintage type, featuring rich low-mids.

The preamp is also original, similar to those used in Rhino guitars.

The EQ is not excessive, giving an overall impression of ease of use.

It features a thick low-mid sound characteristic of PB-type guitars.

In addition, the maple fingerboard and stainless steel frets contribute to a smooth and speedy sound from the mid-high to high frequencies.
