Freedom Custom Guitar Research is a Tokyo-based guitar workshop that has garnered overwhelming support from professional musicians in Japan and has recently begun to make a name for itself overseas.

Originally acclaimed for its repair work, the workshop now focuses on manufacturing. Their work is beloved by many musicians for its high quality and rational design sense.

All of the brand's basses are manufactured in Tokyo.
Strict quality control is applied to all wood used, and any wood that does not meet the standards is not used in the products.

It is precisely because they are a small workshop that such quality control is possible.
In this sense, too, the quality of their basses is fundamentally different from that of instruments made in large factories.

This model is a modern bass crafted by Freedom, a company with deep knowledge of vintage basses.

The body is constructed of Premium Quilt Maple, Weng, and Mahogany.
The body color is KMK (Kamakura), with an elegant finish that highlights the beautiful grain of the Premium Quilt Maple.

The neck is a 3-piece maple/wenge/maple neck.
The technique of creating a neck by gluing together multiple pieces of wood minimizes differences between left and right guitars and individual differences, achieving greater stability.

The fingerboard is made of Indian rosewood.

The pickups are FCGR original 4-stroke Bass HB pickups, and the preamp is original.

The preamp has a surprisingly pushed nuance, giving it an active feel in a good way.
Since the acoustic parts are smart, this aspect is quite comfortable.

Despite its wide range, the sound is soft and does not lose its clear intonation.

The excellent balance when held will not feel strange to players familiar with Fenders, and will feel right at home, as if it were an instrument they've owned for years.

Approximately 80% of the frets remain.

● Repurchase Price Guarantee

● Defect Guarantee

Products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items and other products, we will repair any malfunctions that occur under normal use free of charge during the warranty period (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).

The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.

Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases:

- Replacement of consumables.
