It features an alder body, a slab-glued rosewood fingerboard, and a roasted maple neck.

The classic 1960s Fender combination of alder and rosewood delivers rich low-midrange tones and tenacious sustain.
In particular, the slab-board design—where the fingerboard is glued flat—increases the mass of the rosewood, adding a thick core to the attack.
Combined with a high-rigidity Roasted Maple neck, which has had moisture evaporated through high-temperature treatment, it delivers extremely fast transients alongside that classic warmth.
