Description & Condition
Description & Condition
It is loved by countless top artists such as Thurston Moore, Thom Yorke, and Kenta Kataoka.
The Jazzmaster was released by Fender in 1958 as a higher-end model.
Although initially released as a jazz-only model, the Jazzmaster's fat sound and cool looks have made it a favorite of many artists and has been a colorful part of the underground music scene.
Today, it is a popular model used by many Japanese rock artists.
This model is a new Fender that has been reconfigured after the discontinuation of Fender Japan.
It is still manufactured in Japan, but with more American specifications and input than before.
As the HYBRID series, this one retains the vintage look, but with some innovations for the modern player in various areas.
The beautiful indigo-colored alder body is mounted with a white pearl pickguard.
The body is finished with a high-class look.
The neck is made of standard maple.
Finished with a satin finish, it is smooth to the touch and comfortable to play.
The fingerboard is made of maple.
Normally, Jazzmasters often use rosewood for the fingerboard, but this model uses maple.
The 250mm fingerboard radius and medium jumbo frets give it a modern style that is different from the vintage style, not only in looks but also in playability.
Locking pegs are used to improve tuning stability.
Locking pegs are a familiar upgrade part, and it is nice to see that Fender, with its long history, has installed them as original equipment.
The Jazzmaster is Fender's representative model next to the Stratocaster and Telecaster.
How about this opportunity?
Almost no fret wear.
The truss rod operation and neck are in good condition.
The body and paintwork are slightly scratched when exposed to light, and there are a few small dents. The vinyl tape on the pickguard is still in place.
No obvious modifications were found.
