The Stratocaster model was released by Fender in 1954 as a derivative of the Telecaster, the original solid guitar.

This model is a Stratocaster from the American Vintage II series, the pinnacle of Fender's regular line.
This model is a reproduction of a Stratocaster manufactured in 1973.
This Stratocaster has features unique to this period, such as a large headstock, Bullet style truss rod nut, F-key pegs, 3-point neck joint, etc. The body is made of Ash, and the neck is made of MDF.
