The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck shows signs of high rise. The current string height is set at 2.0-2.8mm above the 12th fret, which is the GIB standard, and can buzz depending on the picking strength.
The body and finish show occasional dents and scratches, indicating signs of use. There is a crack in the neck finish, but this does not affect use. The bridge is original, but there are screw holes nearby that appear to have been used to attach a different bridge. There were no signs of drilling or filling work under the bridge. There appears to be a slight crack in the wood at the nut. There are no current issues with use.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The pickups have been replaced with Lollar Pickups / Jazz Bass 5-String Pickup Set. The pickguard has been replaced. The tuning machines have been replaced. They appear to be HIPSHOT-made, but there are no visible markings.
