Description & Condition

Fender is the undisputed number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It is loved by countless top artists such as Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee.

This bass is a Jazz Bass made in 1972.
The body is probably Alder.

As you can imagine from its age, it has a tight and taut sound.

The sound of the rear PU is particularly crisp but not flat, and its suggestive and powerful sound can be used alone or mixed with the front for great power.

There are roughly 50% frets remaining.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition with a certain amount of high up.
The string height at the 12th fret is 3.0mm on the 1st string and 3.5mm on the 4th string.
If you would like to play it in better condition, please contact GIB for refretting and other repairs.

The body and paintwork are in good condition with scratches, dings and cracks throughout, commensurate with the age of the instrument.
