Fender is the undisputed number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
Fender is loved by countless top artists such as Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee.
The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model of the Precision Bass.
Its sharp and clear sound has been loved by many bassists, and even today it enjoys overwhelming support and a shining presence.
This is a Jazz Bass manufactured in 1969.
The body is made of Alder and the fingerboard is Rosewood, a popular spec.
The neck end is stamped 7MAR69A.
Also, both the neck and body top are marked 169.
On the back of the PU, stamps 5149 and 1149 can be seen.
It appears to be original in feel.
The pot date is not visible, but it does not appear to be original.
The wiring material must have been replaced as well.
Since the wiring material is orange, green, and black, and the pots appear to have been replaced, we have determined that the wiring material has also been replaced.
Also, the nut and frets appear to have been replaced.
That being said, it can be said that this is a well cared for piece, and its sound and playing comfort is rather pleasing to musicians.
The remaining frets are approximately 90%.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork are in good condition, and there are some weather checks throughout the body. There are also some age-appropriate dents and scratches.
