The Jazz bass was released with the positioning of a higher-end Precision bass.
Its sharp, clear sound was loved by many bassists, and even today it enjoys overwhelming support and a shining presence.
This model is a Jazz bass made in 1962.
It has an alder body, rose fingerboard (rounded) and the most popular specs.
It has been refinished, but at a much older date. It has an atmospheric feel.
The frets and nut appear to have been replaced.
It has been tuned by PLEK.
Originally owned by a professional bassist, it was operated hard on the field and is in perfect condition.
The sound is excellent.
