Fender is the undisputed number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It is loved by countless top artists such as James Jemerson, Bobby Vega and Michael League.
The Precision Bass was the world's first fretted solid electric bass, and it quickly captivated bassists around the world.
Its brilliance has remained unchanged and loved even now, more than half a century after its birth.
This product is a Precision bass manufactured in 1961, one of the most popular vintage years.
The pots may have been replaced, but from the engraving it can be judged to be from 61,60.
Major parts such as the bridge, PU and pegs appear to be original.
It was originally owned by a musician and is perfectly set up.
There were very few adjustments to be made when it arrived and it was in good playing condition from top to bottom.
Some may feel it is a little too modern from the setting, but we can adjust that on request.
