Musicman, Leo Fender's second brand, has been beloved by bassists worldwide.
Even after being acquired by Ernie Ball, its popularity has persisted, and it is widely accepted by modern bassists.
Many artists, including Louis Johnson and Flea, are well-known for using this brand's basses.
The Stingray is Musicman's most popular model,
and, along with Fender's Jazz Bass and Precision Bass, it's no exaggeration to say it's one of the most popular basses in the world.
This model is the StingRay EX, made in Japan.
It features a six-point bolt joint and modern features, but the bridge is mounted under-thru rather than top-loaded.
This hybrid configuration is unique to the EX model.
The sound produced by a single, large humbucker pickup mounted at the bridge, coupled with a powerful preamp, is unparalleled,
and if you want this tone, you won't need to consider any other bass.
The frets have approximately 70% wear remaining. The truss rod is in good condition.
Neck Condition: There is some minor corrosion on the hardware and surface scratches overall from use. There are no major dents or damage that would expose the wood, and the neck warp near the high fret is in good condition.
Body Condition: There are large and fine scratches overall from use, as well as a few smaller dents. There are no major paint peeling or neck pocket cracks that would expose the wood.
