Musicman was introduced as Leo Fender's second brand and was loved by bassists all over the world.
Even after it was acquired by Ernie Ball, it remains the same and is widely accepted by modern bassists.
Many artists such as Louis Johnson and Flea are known to use the company's basses.
Stingray is the brand's overwhelmingly popular standard model.
It is no exaggeration to say that it is one of the most popular basses in the world, along with Fender's Jazz Bass and Precision Bass.
This is a 5-string model manufactured in 2002.
It has a very unique coloring.
A 3-way switch allows the PU wiring to be switched between series, tap, and parallel.
This sound variation is attractive.
Equipped with a dummy coil for hum cancellation, perfect noise countermeasures.
The oil-finished neck has a smooth texture and is preferred by many musicians.
This is the only way to get a crisp sound.
If you play funk or mixture, this is a masterpiece that you should try at least once.
Approximately 90% of the frets remain.
The movement of the truss rod is a little stiff, but we have confirmed that it can move around 90 degrees.
The condition of the neck is a little high, but the string height above the 12th fret is 2.0 mm on the 1st string side and 2.8 mm on the 5th string side, so it can be played without jamming or buzzing. There is slight darkening on the fingerboard and grip.
Regarding the condition of the body and painted surface, there is a 10mm dent in the wood on the tip of the horn on the first string side of the top of the body. Other than that, there are no noticeable scratches and it is in good condition overall.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The battery box has been removed and replaced with a battery snap. Along with this, it is covered with a battery panel. The jack has been replaced with Pure Tone PTT2.
