Description & Condition
Musicman emerged as Leo Fender's second brand and was loved by bassists around the world.
After being acquired by Ernie Ball, it has remained the same and is widely accepted by modern bassists.
Louis Johnson, Flea, and many other artists are known to use the company's basses.
The Stingray is the brand's overwhelmingly popular standard model.
It is no exaggeration to say that it is one of the most popular basses in the world, along with Fender's Jazz Bass and Precision Bass.
This is a 4-string model manufactured in 2000.
This is a slightly rare type with an ebony fingerboard.
Overall, it is modern and contemporary specs.
It features a Han-like design with only one humbucking pickup on the bridge side.
If you play funk, this is the one!
The frets are roughly 70% remaining.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition, but the paint is peeling.
The body and painted surface are in good condition, with some dents, scratches, and paint cracks, and there is a trace of melted paint on the left side of the bridge.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The strap pin has been replaced by a locking pin. (Maker unknown).
