Description & Condition
After being acquired by Ernieball, that has not changed, and the company is still widely accepted by modern bassists.
Lewis Johnson, Flea, and many other artists are known to use the company's basses.
The Stingray is by far the most popular model from the company, but this is the Sterling.
It features a slightly slimmer body shape and is convincingly comfortable to hold in comparison.
The PU has been replaced with one made by EMG.
Probably, the front is retrofitted.
The preamp has also been replaced with an EMG, and it appears that a counterweight has been added.
The controls are nicely modified and clean.
The playing feel is crisp and powerful, just like the Stingray.
The clear and speedy nuance of EMG is well suited.
The remaining frets are approximately 80%.
The truss rod is a little stiff, but we have confirmed that it works about 90 degrees.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and painted surface are in player's condition with some scratches, dents, and scattered dulling of parts.
