This model is a replacement pickup for 4-string PJ basses.
As this is the A-X series, it is oriented toward a wider headroom and natural sound.
In order to create a warmer sound, alnico magnets are used instead of the ceramic magnets normally used.
Please experience the low noise, wide range, and speedy sound typical of EMG.
There are faint string marks on the top surface of the pickup. There are 4 scratches on the corners from pickup mounting screws. Operation is good.
