Description & Condition
Elrick Bass Guitars is an American brand established in 1992.
Each guitar is carefully handmade, and its high quality has been well received by many musicians.
There are several series and models, but the Gold Series here uses bolt-on joints to keep the price low while maintaining the quality.
The e-volution model has a double-cut, well-balanced body shape.
The body is a Buckeye burl top with a swamp ash back.
The neck and fingerboard are constructed of wenge.
The looks are modern and upscale, decorated with matching heads.
The PU is an Aero single coil and the preamp is an Aguilar OBP-3.
The bridge is original (a bit like a hipshot), and the tuning keys are hipshot.
The specs around here generally have a modern standard feel to them.
This is a 4-string bass made by a brand that usually makes 5-string and 6-string basses, which is why it is characterized by a somewhat relaxed playing feel.
It has a very smooth feel and a clean, natural sound.
The frets are approximately 80% full.
The truss rod is a little loose, but we have confirmed that it works about 90 degrees.
The neck is in good condition. There is a 2mm ding on the tip of the head top.
The condition of the body and painted surface is quite clean and no scratches were found. There is a scratch on the neck pickup cover.
No clear modification points were found.
