dragonfly is a Japanese guitar and bass brand with a long history.
Using knowledge and technology cultivated with musicians, the company manufactures high-quality products.
Many musicians use the brand's basses, including Tejan Tetsuya of Fear.and loathing in Las Vegas, who has been using the brand's basses for many years.
There are several models of dragonfly, and this model is the CS 5 with a double-cut body design.
It will be familiar to JB lovers.
The body top is Chestnut, the back is Alder and the fingerboard is Pauferro.
It has an exotic look typical of dragonfly, but with a somewhat elegant atmosphere.
The frets are stainless steel frets designed in-house.
In fact, dragonfly is also a pioneer in the introduction of stainless steel frets on its basses.
The original pre-amp is attractive in that there is no weird boomy effect when boosted.
The BASS bandwidth is a little higher at 60 Hz, which seems to match modern bassists.
The bridge is a non-GOTOH type, which is unusual.
