Don Grosh is an American guitar brand founded in 1993.
He originally worked at the Valley Arts factory, and is a top builder who has made a name for himself working with top musicians such as Larry Carlton and Lee Sklar. (Titles omitted)
This model is a J5 inspired by the 5-string JB.
The body top is made of Flamed Maple, the back is Swamp Ash, and the neck and fingerboard are made of Maple, giving it a NYC sound.
The hardware is HIPSHOT and perfect.
The shape of the fingerboard, the neck grip, and the joint with the body are all very well-balanced, making for an attractively smooth playability.
The pickups are original single coils, and the preamp is Aguilar's OBP-1.
The sound is powerful, clear, speedy, and attacking.
It gives the impression of a more sublimated NYC sound, and has all the elements that are required for modern music.
This is a must-have, especially for those who play modern black music.
All in all, it was a great guitar.
