Delano is a leading German bass pickup brand.
Specializing in modern styles, they have become so popular in recent years that they are featured in many high-end basses.
This item is a representative model, the JMVC.
This is for a 4-string JB type.
The larger-than-usual pole pieces use ferrite magnets and ceramic magnets below the pole pieces, highlighting a completely different direction from the previously mainstream Alnico 5.
When mixed, the JB sound is surprisingly pronounced.
However, their true potential is best revealed when the balance is shifted to the front or rear.
While the rear end can often sound thin with Alnico single coils, and the front end can be too boomy, the Delano's solid midrange supports each output with a quality that works well.
All Delano pickups have a powerful midrange.
This rich midrange effectively enhances the sense of attack and the bass's positioning in an ensemble.
While classic Fender types in particular have traditionally focused on pursuing a more traditional sound, the Delano offers a different approach.
This is a product worth trying.
There are some small scratches and signs of use. The logo has been worn off. It works well. Approximately 18cm of lead wire remains.

This guitar is carefully inspected by GIB craftsmen before delivery.
