Description & Condition

Delano, a German pickup manufacturer known for its use in the Mayones Jabba played by Adrienne Fellows.

This item is a typical model JMVC.

The larger-than-usual pole piece uses a ferrite magnet, while a ceramic magnet is used under the pole piece, indicating that the company is aiming for a completely different direction from the previously mainstream Alnico 5 pickups.

When mixed, the JB sounds surprisingly JB.
However, it is when the balance is shifted to the front or rear that the JB's power is really revealed.

The rear, which tends to be too thin with a single Alnico coil, and the front, which is too boomy, are each supported by the solid middle of the Delano pickups, and the output has the quality that makes it viable.

Delano pickups have a strong middle in common. This rich middle allows the bass to attack and stand its ground in an ensemble. Another notable feature is the ability to reproduce the low end of a 5-string bass with clarity.

The Delano offers different possibilities to the classic Fender type, where the pursuit of the old sound has been the norm.

Externally there are slight signs of use, but overall it is in beautiful condition. Operation is good.

Resistance value : 5.06 kΩ, length of lead wire : approx. 22.0 cm.
