Xotic is a brand founded by Japanese builder Hiro Miura in LA.

In Japan, Yoshiteru Takahashi, BJ of indigo jam unit, Katsuji Morioka, and many famous musicians outside of Japan, such as Chuck Rainey, Rhonda Smith, and Travis Carlton, are using Xotic products.

The XJ series has been highly acclaimed, especially by studio workers, as a line manufactured in Japan.
The XJ series is basically built in the Fender manner, but with a few modern updates.

The neck joint is positioned slightly differently than usual, and you will notice that it is easier to get your left hand into the high position when you hold the instrument.
This arrangement is for the modern musician who uses the entire fretboard fully.

The body is a classic configuration of alder and the fingerboard is rosewood.
The neck is roasted maple.

Pickups have been changed from the early Lindy Fralin and the next Xotic original, and this model is equipped with RAW VINTAGE pickups.
These are handmade in California and are characterized by their clear, crisp, and raw output.

It is more sensitive to the player's fingertips than before.
The fronts are deeper, the rears are more three-dimensional, and the low end is clearer and tighter in the mix.

As you can see, this one has a strong aging process.
It's a beautiful finish, and it's easy to see why it's so well received.

Traditional sounding 5-string JBs are always in demand, especially for session and studio musicians.
However, there are not many products that meet that demand in terms of quality.

The Xotic XJ is one of the best solutions to this demand.

The frets are approximately 90% full.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition; there is a creaking sound when the peg on the A string is turned.
The condition of the body and paint surface has some dents and minor scratches originally, as this is a Relic model. There are no obvious scratches or dents that seem to be new.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
