Description & Condition

Aria Pro II is an international brand that has been active since the dawn of Japanese guitar making.

This model is the SB, Aria Pro II's signature model.

The SB has been loved by musicians around the world.

Marcus Miller, Will Lee, Jack Bruce, and John Taylor are known bassists who have used the SB. (Titles omitted)

This is an SB-1000 manufactured in 1983.

The body is ash.
It's a very heavy wood.

The neck is a maple and walnut laminate.
It features a neck-through construction.

The fingerboard is rosewood.

The pickups are MB-1E Dual Coil pickups, and the preamp is original.

The attack mode selector is a low-pass filter, allowing you to choose from six presets.

The switch allows you to switch between different character sounds, from warm and thick to bright and attacking.

Simple yet extremely practical, it allows you to tailor the sound to suit your playing style and ensemble.

This filter can be turned on and off with a mini switch.

It's characterized by a thick, attacking sound with a tight yet extended sustain.

This is a classic SB.

Approximately 80% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is stiff but has been confirmed to move about 90 degrees.
The neck shows signs of high tilt. Adjusting it 0.5mm higher than the GIB standard (2.5mm-3.0mm at the 12th fret) allows for smooth playability.
The body and finish show signs of use, with occasional dents, scratches, and peeling paint. A crack approximately 50.0mm long can be seen near the border between the back of the neck and the back of the headstock. It does not reach the wood, and does not affect playability. There is also some tarnish on the metal parts.
The electrical system exhibits a slight crackling sound when turning the attack mode selector.
No obvious modifications were found.
