Olive Instruments is a brand handmade by Japanese builder Mr. Yaguchi.
They are known for their work, which is finished with a neat balance of luxurious use of high quality woods.

This model is a Limba 5 with a semi-hollow body and double-cut body.

The body back is made of beautiful Honduran mahogany and the top is made of spruce.
The inside of the body is hollow, and one theme is to obtain an acoustic sound.

The neck is a 3P type made of Honduran mahogany and padouk.
Madagascar rosewood is used for the fingerboard.

A high C specification is used, which, combined with the slightly shorter 33.5" scale, accentuates the sweetness of the treble strings.
The sound is not muddy, so even when playing note-loaded chords, the sound is less saturated and clearer.

The pickups are Humpback's single coils.
These are specially designed for Olive Instruments and are exclusive models.
Therefore, the finish reflects the builder's intentions more purely.

Controls are volume, balancer, and tone.

The body balance when set up is very good, so musicians should be able to concentrate only on their playing.
The overall balance is beautiful, which we feel is one of the characteristics of this brand.
