Description & Condition
PRS is a new age standard guitar brand along with Fender and Gibson.
The beautiful guitars they produce are known to be used by the world's top musicians such as Carlos Santana, John Mayer, Orianthi Panagaris, DAITA, and PABLO. (Genealogy abbreviation)
This model is the McCarty 594, which was created in collaboration with Ted McCarty, the developer of the Gibson Les Paul, and is even closer to vintage guitars.
The McCarty 594 uses a 24.594” scale, which is the same as the actual scale of Les Paul guitars from the 50's. The McCarty 594 is a very popular PRS model that shows respect for Les Paul in terms of controls and hardware.
This is the McCarty 594 Hollowbody II model with such features.
As the name suggests, it uses hollowbody construction.
This model is made in the Private Stock line, which is the highest level of PRS.
Private Stock guitars are made by skilled craftsmen using the highest grade of wood, and each guitar is made to order.
The body top and back are made of East Coast Curly Maple, and the sides are made of Mahogany.
The top and back are beautifully grained like a work of art, and the arches are very smooth.
Curly Maple is used for the headstock, body, neck, and head binding, giving it an exquisite look that is simply fascinating to look at.
The neck and fingerboard are Honduran Rosewood.
The neck and fingerboard are Honduran Rosewood, also known as New Jacaranda, which is a rare and valuable wood, and is luxuriously used.
The bird inlay on the fingerboard and the eagle inlay on the head are decorated with black onyx, and the outline of each inlay is decorated with pink avalon.
The neck shape is “Pattern Vintage,” a detailed reproduction of the 1953 Les Paul neck shape.
It is the thickest neck shape among the PRS models, but the 6-string side and the 1-string side are asymmetrical, giving it both a vintage feel and high playability.
The pickups are two 58/15 LTs, which are designed for the humbucker sound of the late 50's. The sound is clear and well-balanced.
The sound is clear and well-balanced, with a sweet and warm sound combined with the hollow construction.
The pickups are coil-tapable and can be operated as single coils.
The wide variety of sound variation is very attractive.
This is one of the most valuable high-end guitars among the many high-end models in existence.
How about it as a one-of-a-kind guitar?
This is an outlet item for long-term stock.
There are slight scratches on the back of the body, the treble string side of the head, and the jack plate.
Other than appearance, this guitar comes with warranty.
