Provision Guitar is a handmade brand based in Yamaguchi Prefecture that produces high-quality guitars.
There are many users among professionals, and the company is known as a favorite of Takayoshi Negishi, Ken Taneda, Kazuya Kojima (back number), and others.
I personally find the high quality of Fender style basses in particular very appealing.
This is a collaboration model with Mr. EBI of UNICORN.
It has a unique look with a Fender feel.
The body is made of alder and the fingerboard is rosewood, a classic configuration.
The paint is Top Lacquer finish.
The color of the paint changes drastically as the top clear layer discolors.
This balance of using a strong paint such as urethane for the base, and using lacquer for the top, which is related to the looks of the instrument, is very rational.
The bridge is a HIPSHOT and the tuners are GOTOH, a blend of Japanese and Western styles.
Basically, it has the Fender style sound that Provision is best known for, with the nuances of a vigorous P bass.
