This model is the D-35, a representative model.
The D-35 was introduced in 1965, in the midst of the folk boom.
The D-35 has a three-piece back to make the most of Brazilian rosewood, which was a scarce material at the time, as well as other unique specifications such as neck binding and a volute-less neck.
The rich tone of the D-35 is especially loved by Japanese musicians, and it has a long history of coloring the Japanese folk scene.
This model is a Custom Shop-made version of the D-35.
This model is handmade by skilled craftsmen recognized by Martin, the top brand of acoustic guitars.

The body top is made of premium grade Sitka Spruce, which is used for Marin's Style 45.
