Description & Condition

Capurso Guitars is a high brand of handmade, high quality basses based in Italy.

Builder Andrea Capurso's instruments are traditional, experimental, and musical.

The Sniper model is a modern bass with a beautiful flowing body shape.

The body top is a beautiful poplar burl.
Elegantly finished in blue.
The body back is mainly made of Okume with some Alder.

The neck is Canadian maple and bloodwood, and the fingerboard is MacArthur Ebony, the best for fretless.

Despite being a 5-string, it is lightweight, weighing less than 4 kg.
Thanks to this, the responsiveness to string picking is excellent, and the guitar is light and comfortable to play.

The pickups are Italian MAMA Pickups dual coils.
Coil tapping is possible.

Controls are volume, balancer, tone (active/passive by push/pull), 3-band EQ, and two switches for mid cut and PU tap.

The tone is characterized by a rich bass-based singing tone, nuanced like a classical instrument.

All the painting is done with lacquer.
