Xotic is a brand founded by Japanese builder Hiro Miura in LA.

In Japan, Yoshiteru Takahashi, BJ of indigo jam unit, Katsuji Morioka, and many famous musicians outside of Japan, such as Chuck Rainey, Rhonda Smith, and Travis Carlton, are using Xotic products.

The XP series has been highly acclaimed, especially by studio workers, as a line manufactured in Japan.
Alder body, rose fretboard, and classic wood construction.

This model is a gem that was displayed at the Sound Messe in 2023, and is finished with special specs as a show model.

The neck is made of roasted maple, and this is an option that comes with an upcharge.

Unusually for a Precision style, it is equipped with a preamp.
This preamp is highly acclaimed for being very natural, with little difference in character change on and off.

This characteristic is also useful for precision basses, allowing fine equalization and impedance conversion without losing the passive feel.
It can also be driven passively by pulling up the volume pot.
