Xotic is a brand founded in LA by Japanese builder Hiro Miura.
In Japan, it is used by Yoshiteru Takahashi, BJ of Indigo Jam Unit, and Katsuji Morioka, and internationally, it is used by many famous musicians such as Chuck Rainey, Rhonda Smith, and Travis Carlton.
This is a special piece custom ordered by GIB.
The XP series has been highly praised by studio workers as a line made in Japan.
The body is Alder and the fingerboard is Rosewood.
It's a classic style.
Unusually for a PB style, it is equipped with a preamplifier.
This preamp is highly praised for its very natural sound, with little difference in character between on and off.
This characteristic is also useful for precision bass, allowing detailed equalization and impedance conversion while maintaining a passive feel.
Passive driving is also possible by pulling up the volume pot.
Not only the speedy sound when active, but also the slow sound when passive is first class.
The PU uses Xotic's original one.
In addition to the beautiful lacquer finish, this is a masterpiece that has been given a heavy aged finish.
It has a practical finish that provides excellent playability and neat sound.
